I enjoy spending time with my vintage Collins 51S-1.This vacuum tube radio is one of the best SW radios ever made.I have a 100 foot long wire connected to my Collins.
The WiNRADiO is simply the best WIDE BAND Radio for the dollar made. Check this out: http://www.winradio.com/home/1000i.htm
Set this up with the proper antennas and WOW! I have four switched antennas (1) - 70' Long wire (2) DISCONE - Scanner/Ham Base Station Antenna. (3) ALL-BAND Monitor Antenna Runs on top of my proxy server.
