My new 2017 F-150 Platinum

Well I had to trade in my 2009 due excessive rust on the cab corners and the bed, it was a good truck and I really liked it, but I just could not put $8K into it, not knowing what might be next. So I affectionately named it Rusty, and set out to find his replacement.

After many months I found my new 2017 F-150 Platinum, same color but this one is all aluminum so it wont rust! It has the 3.5L EcoBoost V6 so it will use less gas, but has more power than the V-8. This one has the 36 gal gas tank as well. I hope it treats me as good as Rusty did!

I did dress it up a little. The same retractable tonneau cover as Rusty, but no tool box. I also added a Bug deflector, mud flaps, bed extender, side window deflectors, front & back dash cameras, and eliminated the auto stop/start system. New tires and maybe some wheels later this year!

My new 2009 Ford F-150 Platinum Edition 4X4 Crew Cab came in just in time for Christmas.
